Hi everyone, happy Sunday! Sitting here this afternoon looking at our foot of snow and getting things ready to ship for the Spring Refresh. I've been meaning to put the word out for awhile and am writing this today to explain what this all is in a bit more detail and if you feel so inclined, join me in this fun venture. 😊
What is Seasonal Refresh?
Seasonal Refresh started just over a year ago now. I wanted to start something that was my very own and something I have a passion about. In comes home decor... (If you know my mother, you know where this comes from!) So I went ahead and created my legal business, website, and started sourcing from various boutique vendors. The main 'item' is the seasonal subscription box. I wanted to create a décor box that you can't find just anywhere, would incorporate the latest seasonal trends, and make life easier with cute décor showing up at your doorstep prior to each new season. Each box has anywhere from 7-10 items.
Seasonal Refresh is not a national company where I get a commission for every item sold. All of the items are sourced, purchased, and put together by me and my small team. It continues to evolve and as I am able to grow, I can add more items to the site. It's been a fun, exhausting, and exciting year! And I say that because I do this while still continuing to work in the corporate world, which has its own high level of demands. Oh, and the kids!
My ask...
The majority of the battle with a small business is getting the word out about your existence. While Facebook and social media are great, word of mouth is even better! Here are my asks:
